Westfest Volunteers are a key component of the festival, by providing essential services to Artists, VIPs, and the community, and helping to keep Westfest free and available to all.
We are seeking friendly, enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible people who can work 2 or more shifts over the 3 day festival. Each shift is typically 5 to 7 hours long, depending on the volunteer position and the need. For every shift worked, you will receive a free meal with one of the Westfest vendors, as well as ample opportunities for breaks to enjoy the performances and festivities.
Westfest is always evolving, as such, volunteer positions can vary from year to year. Past volunteer positions include: Information Booth, Street Marshals, Bicycle Parking, and Audience Floaters.
You will be contacted in April to confirm your interest and availability for this year’s festival.
The Volunteer Orientation meeting is on Tuesday April 11 at Laroche Park Fieldhouse where we will explain the volunteer positions for this year and allow you to choose the areas of your involvement.
Two weeks before the festival, you will receive the Volunteer Schedule and your scheduled shifts.
In the week before the festival, you will be required to attend registration to confirm your shifts and collect your t-shirt and/or volunteer tag.
